Coke meets Art
Die britische Pop Art Legende Sir Peter Blake inszeniert in dieser Woche die Coca Cola Flasche in der Londoner South Bank
Sir Peter Blake, am meisten bekannt durch sein “Sergeant Pepper” Cover für die Beatles inszeniert die Coke Flasche mit seinem Team seit einer Woche.
Ausgedacht hat sich die Aktion die Londoner Kreativschmiede Mother. Die Londoner South Bank Arena ist traditionell einer der am meisten besuchten und kreativsten Plätze Londons.
Sir Peter Blake: “Working with one of the most famous and iconic brands in the world, gives me the opportunity to bring my art to more people and create an original piece of work that people can experience and enjoy.”
Cathryn Sleight Marketing Director von Coca-Cola Great Britain sagt: “It’s fantastic that someone as iconic as Sir Peter Blake is inspired by the ‘Coca-Cola’ brand and imagery to create a unique piece of art for people to enjoy this summer.”
Coca Cola wird in diesem Sommer noch weitere Installationen mit anderen namhaften Designern in der South Bank promoten. Unter anderem mit Vault49 und Adhemas aus Brasilien.
Insgesamt werden 14 verschiedene Designer ihre Interpretation von Sommer und “The Coke Side of Life” geben.
